Becky Meitin is the Head Coach of the Alpine Angelfish and a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a Master's Degree in meteorology.
She is the current U.S. Synchro Master's National Solo Champion in her age group (seven consecutive years). She is a National judge (Level 6) and the current Chair of the USSS Law and Legislation Committee.
She has two sons and one daughter and is actively involved in aerobics and weight training. Becky swam in Ohio and Florida and participated in competitions such as Junior Nationals and Nationals, earning several Merit Awards. She is in the Swimming Hall of Fame. She also coached at the University of Colorado and the Boulder Aquateens. While with the Aquateens, she grew the team from five swimmers to over 40.
Becky is a co-founder of the Alpine Angelfish (in 1997) along with
Layla Smith, who was a member of the 2007 U.S. National Team that competed in the FINA World Championships
and Layla's brother, Kenyon Smith, who is on the United States Junior National Synchronized Swim Team.
